For Capryce’s 2024 Matric Farewell, we created a gown that embodies elegance, sensuality, and modern refinement. Crafted from luxurious black velvet, the design features stylistic panel lines that sculpt and contour the silhouette with architectural precision. Every seam and neckline was hand-embellished with seed-spaced black crystals, adding a subtle, shimmering dimension. The true showstopper? A bespoke gold-plated jewellery piece by Ida Elsje, adorned with green semi-precious stones — forming an unconventional and striking back detail. This gown is red-carpet worthy and remains one of our favourite couture moments of 2024.
